Meet the Staff

Lois – Treatment Coordinator

Lois has been in dentistry over 17 years and with Dr. Howard Chasolen for over 11 years. She is our Treatment Coordinator or “Case Manager”. It is her pleasure to work with each and every patient helping them understand their dental needs, the course of treatment recommended and ensuring a smooth journey during their time in treatment. Lois has a great relationship with our patients and referring offices. She provides the financial arrangements for patients and facilitates all of their appointments and referrals. Because she has been a clinical assistant for many years, she is able to provide our patients with a perspective that allows them to understand the details of treatment without complicating things for them.


Laurette – Office Coordinator

With over 30+years experience in the dental field, Laurette brings our office disciplined organizational skills, enthusiasm and commitment to the success of the practice. Her specific responsibilities are Hygiene Coordinator and Front Desk Administration. As our Hygiene Coordinator, she preserves our hygiene program along with being a liaison to other contributing offices. As a Front Desk Administrator, first and foremost, it is her priority to provide patient care. Additionally, she interfaces with our accountants, computer support, vendors and outside merchants. She also supports and coordinates Dr. Chasolen’s seminars.


Paula- Dental Assistant

I have been in dentistry over 20 years and with Dr. Chasolen for over 13 years. I have sat chair-side and been a part of some of the most remarkable transformations imaginable. From cosmetic changes to complete functional bite reconstructions to incredible implant cases. Many of the cases making it right for new patients who were recently treated with challenged outcomes. I am committed to meticulous attention to detail in all I do including one of my primary roles; making provisional restorations. I love the art and science that is demanded of my job.


Susie – Dental Assistant

I have been a dental assistant for 23 years and most recently have been working with Dr. Chasolen. I have been in cosmetic dentistry most of my career, and I can tell you that we add a level of understanding to the process that I have not experienced before. My role as a chair-side assistant is to ensure the treatment is smooth and comfortable for you. I will be making your provisional restorations as well as being a priimary “scrubbed in” team player. I love my job and coming to work every day is exciting and rewarding.


Tracy,R.D.H.- Dental Hygienist

I have been in the field of dentistry since 1988. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Manatee Community College in 1990 with an Associates of Arts degree. In 1992, I received my Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from St. Petersburg Junior College. I have served as both Vice-President and President of the Manatee-Sarasota Dental Hygienists’ Association in 1999 and 2000, respectively.

It has been an honor to be a part of the Chasolen team, the best in dentistry, since December 2010. I am committed to making your dental hygiene experience a very comfortable and enjoyable one, while providing you with the best in Preventative Dentistry and maintaining your smile. I look forward to taking care of each and every patient I encounter.
